Optimum Car Detailing recently launched our “Waterless” Car Wash process. We offer it to all of our customers at no additional charge. How does our “Waterless” Car Wash work? Well as opposed to a traditional soap and water car wash, our “Waterless” Car Wash does not require gallons of water and large amounts of thick, foamy soap. Instead, the vehicle is sprayed with a proprietary solution and the dirt is wiped away by hand. This technique provides a variety of benefits. It also produces superior results to those of a traditional soap and water car wash.
Versatility & Efficiency
Optimum Car Detailing’s “Waterless” Car Wash provides versatility to our mobile detailing services. The lack of a need to spray the vehicle with gallons of water allows us to work in places we couldn’t with a power washer. For instance your garage. A traditional wash uses too much water and produces a soapy mess which makes working indoors impossible. Unless you have been off-roading, the dirt and road grime accumulated on most vehicles isn’t enough to necessitate the use of a power washer. This technique is also more efficient and as a result, it takes us less time to wash your vehicle. It’s more efficient because the washing and drying of your car’s exterior happen at the same time.
Superior Results
The “Waterless” approach allows us to identify problem areas on your vehicle and specifically treat them accordingly along the way. The vehicle in a traditional soap and water wash is blasted with foam that conceals the problem areas. The exterior is scrubbed with a wash mitt in a nonspecific way. The vehicle is then rinsed revealing problem areas that were not addressed. What we have found is that other mobile detailing services, who do not hold themselves to high-quality standards, will attempt to clean these areas during the drying process. This lazy attempt will not properly clean your vehicle. They can also damage your paint by moving contaminates around the vehicle with the drying towel.
Eco-Friendly Car Wash
Maybe the most important benefit of the “Waterless” approach is that it is eco-friendly. The average soap and water car wash offered by most mobile detailing services uses 15 gallons of water. Most of the soaps contain chemicals that can be harmful as well. The “Waterless” Car Wash requires 16 to 20 ounces of solution on average and the solution is non-toxic.
